A Communication Support Worker’s role is varied and complex, they are the conduit for information to pass between a deaf person and a hearing person, mostly within the educational environment.
CSW training is comprehensive and rigorous; when qualified the CSW will have gained a variety of strategies with which to cope in many different situations.
He/she is a resource to be used by both student and tutor and can provide information and possible solutions to problems that may occur.
Our new CPD course is the next step from our previous course, 'How to be a CSW' (read the reviews from our former students), and is now available from March 2024.
