British Sign Language (BSL) is an official minority language of the UK, recognised on 18th March 2003.
That's the reason why British Deaf Association celebrates the Sign Language Week from 13th to 18th March to raise awareness of the United Kingdom’s Deaf community and provide a platform for Deaf people to proudly promote their language and culture.
