Get ready for an inspiring event as the Deptford Literature Festival returns from Thursday, March 27th to Sunday, March 30th, 2025. This year’s festival is set to celebrate stories, creativity, and the local community, with inclusivity at its heart.
The festival takes place across Deptford and will feature an incredible lineup of performances, readings, workshops, and more, bringing together diverse voices from the local and literary community.
A festival that welcomes everyone
At Deptford Literature Festival, everyone is welcome. Accessibility is a top priority, and this year, all events from Friday to Sunday will feature British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation, so the Deaf community can fully participate. Additionally, online events will include captions, ensuring remote attendees can join in on the excitement.
Of the 48 events planned, 45 are free, making this celebration of literature and community accessible to as many people as possible. For the headline event on Friday, March 28th, free tickets are available for Lewisham residents.
