It's Volunteer's Week (1st to 7th June)! An annual celebration to recognise the wonderful contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK. This has never been more important that now!
Deaf Umbrella has been extremely fortunate to have had a small army of volunteers who have donated their time to our Job Club for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing – we could not have achieved so much for our clients without them!
By giving others a helping hand, our volunteers have also gain valuable new skills and boosted their own confidence alongside that of our deaf and HoH job club users. Many of our volunteers have gone on to employment with Deaf Umbrella through their volunteering. It's a win-win situation for all involved!
